Prof. Simone Gasparinetti has been shortlisted for the Falling Walls Science Summit 2026.

The Falling Walls jury will select ten finalists in August. The Falling Walls Science Summit 2026 will then take place in Berlin from 6–9 November, where the Science Breakthrough of the Year will be celebrated. The Falling Walls Science Summit is an interdisciplinary forum held around the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, bringing together researchers to discuss emerging shifts across scientific disciplines.

At 202Q-lab we use superconducting circuits to explore fundamental and applied questions in quantum information processing, microwave quantum optics, and quantum thermodynamics.
