PCB-based package for superconducting qubits released as open-source hardware
Research highlight December 16, 2022

202Q-lab presents OQTO: an 8-port sample holder supporting 7x7mm and 10x10mm chip sizes. OQTO is a fully nonmagnetic package featuring a 4-layer PCB and solderless, spring-loaded SMA connectors.
We are releasing OQTO through the CERN-OHL-S v2 open-source hardware license and the project can be found on GitHub. The purpose of this release is to enable other research groups to manufacture and use OQTO in their research.
