Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Physics at Chalmers University of Technology. During the first year of his master’s studies, Oscar spent a semester as an exchange student at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. In January 2026, he joined 202Q-lab to complete his master’s thesis under the supervision of Vyom Kulkarni; his research focuses on implementing heat-bath algorithmic cooling in a superconducting circuit. Outside of his studies, Oscar enjoys strength training, traveling, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
