Automating Superconducting Quantum Chip Design with QDesignOptimizer
Designing superconducting quantum circuits can be a time-consuming challenge—tuning capacitances, Josephson junctions, and couplings to hit target frequencies and decay rates often requires countless manual simulations. What if we could automate this process?
Our new open-source tool integrates with HFSS, EPR analysis, and Qiskit Metal, automating the simulation and optimization of design variables. Instead of manually tweaking parameters, use our QDesignOptimizer:
- Runs detailed electromagnetic simulations
- Uses a physics-informed nonlinear model for efficient convergence
- Allows flexible and efficient subsystem analysis
