🎓 Congratulations to Saba Kheviashvili!

Saba has successfully defended his master’s thesis on Circuit Waveguide Electrodynamics with Fluxonium Qubits.

He developed a fluxonium device for the first time in 202Q-lab, and studied the fluxonium coupled strongly to a planar waveguide environment. He is pursuing to build a Λ-system in a single artificial atom, bringing us closer to single-atom microwave photodetectors.

A strong finish to the pilot project on fluxonium in our lab, with valuable input from Aamir Ali, Simone Gasparinetti, Kristiaan De Greve (KU Leuven), and Thilo Bauch.

Looking forward to seeing where this line of research goes next. 👏
