Several members of our group joined the annual conference on quantum thermodynamics in Vienna, Austria.
Simone gave an invited talk entitled “Qubit reset based on a quantum absorption refrigerator“, based on our recent work.
Aamir and Simon presented posters about “Symmetry-Selective Couplings of a Superconducting Artificial Molecule to Microwave Waveguides” (based on this work) and “Quantum thermal machine driven by electrical noise”.
Our newly recruited PhD student Vyom also joined for a terrific head-start into the field.
